There is a magical potion out there we discovered at their wedding. It’s an almost equal mix of beauty and simplicity. Makes for the kind of elegance that can just drenches the entire atmosphere in a happy cloud. Meet Poonam and Omkar. She is powerhouse … dances like a boss and smiles from ear to ear. Comparatively, he is quite … the ‘nice guy’ kind of quiet. There is something inseparable about them and it has been so since childhood. Their maharashtrian wedding took place in Pune and was for the most part hijacked by a gazillion cousins who would dance at the drop of a hat. Dance like madmen!  What better place to host the affair than their farm house on a the top of a hillock overlooking a lake (yes, the scenerywala setup). But what is a complete truckload of cherry on this cake was the level of personalization they did for their wedding. You may have heard of supervising the decor, choosing the dresses yada yada. How about designing their own wedding ring!! Three metals (copper, gold and silver), hours of designing and then getting it hand made (nice guy indeed!).  And that’s not all … even the wedding attires were designed by their close friends (remember …  simple and elegant ; )).
